I see the logic in hiring her, but if you don't actually have an airshift, it's completely, utterly, ridiculous (bordering on dishonest) to run constant promos saying she's "come home to her family" or what have you.

Sleazy. Kaye and anyone else involved should be ashamed.

I think I see your logic: KRTH should have fired someone who has an airshift, so that she could get one. Oterwise, they should not have given her a job.

Most of us would think it was a nice move to give her a position, whatever it is, particularly this time of the year.

I don't know that I would call it sleazy, but I see where scooty430 is coming from. It's totally a tactical move in his quest to crush KOST. He hired her not to work a regular shift (at least at this point) but merely to help go head to head with his old station. They're running her promos quite a bit, but I've only heard her do one show, the Christmas event at Knott's Berry Farm. He obviously knows that there were many digruntled KOST listeners and he's using her to grab more of them. It's a brilliant move, but perhaps a little over the top.
