Just noticed yesterday that K-Love's translator in Birmingham, which had previously identified itself as WERC HD-3 Hoover, is now IDing as WMJJ HD-3 Birmingham. It's a very minor change, but I wonder why they did? Was this done to make room for that new 94.9 station?
I'm curious why you think 106.5 would take the K-Love format from 96.1, when 96.1 seems to be a much more robust frequency, at least on paper.
It would be simpler to lauch Air1 as WERC-HD3 and feed 106.5, wouldn't it? Unless you know something I don't.![]()

Is it True you are with Alabama broadcast media page, if so you should update W237AQ 95.3 in Killen. Though licensed to re-broadcast WUHT in Birmingham it is actually re-broadcasting WAYH in harvest. The same goes for W258AE 99.5 in Florence you have it down it's re-broadcasting WAYW in New Johnsonville, TN, it's actually re-broadcasting WAYH in harvest as well. One more thing the W293CM 106.5 Graysville (Birmingham) Construction Permit is for 99 watts not 22 watts (I think originally it was for 22 though). I hope I can be of help to you.![]()
