I'm beginning to recognize after the past few months that the only way O&A can truly succeed is going back to XM 100%. Otherwise they are walking on eggshells.

Correct! O&A know by now that their terrestrial lives are in somewhat of a state of limbo not only because of numbers, but also because of the "I got to listen to these shows and then bitch about their content being too offensive," demographic. It will probably come to a lot of stations opting out of having Syndicated talk in the morning and moving ever so close to having an on-air morning show that revolves heavily around the music format. Whatever is the least objectionable and still provides a profit.

Exactly, which is why K-Rock should do what radio's core model has been since inception: be progressive and take payola so that Johnny Yuppie knows what songs should be on his IPOD when he goes into the tunnel on the way to his finance job.

I never said anything about it being entertaining, but the whole idea is to make everyone happy. How many new boob jokes, sexual orientation jokes, and racist jokes have come about lately to fuel the necessity of talk personalities in the morning and just how many of those jokes won't piss off an organization?

And I did not say they won't pull ratings, it's that they HAVEN'T PULLED RATINGS. Get it right before you run off and use lines such as " As much as you want to say." DO NOT misquote me!
