As Sam Cooke said, "A Change Gonna Come"....

Why do you say that? It's playing right now... they are saying that "something is happeneing to 94.5" but the music is the same. Do you really think they are flipping?

Jeff, I wish I could tell you what I know, but notice one thing: Have you heard them use the "K-Soul" name?

I don't believe that's the direction they are going in.

Sound like they're jockless.

I'm looking on their website, no jocks. And if they're going to do anything, do something with the transmitter. I heard that they're upgrading but I haven't heard anything new ywt.

You think the change may happen @ 5pm today???? ??? I really would like the jammin' oldies format back. OR how about something like the old 100.3 JAMZ???

I don't know, but the name "K-Soul" is gone from their website.

How about re-positioning the station. The website has changed no KSOUL it's 94.5 "The Soul of DF/W.

Warmed over two day old chili!!!!!

Probably a rebranded urban AC. The only way it might make a difference is if they get some live and local DJs on there.

I heard Baisden might not be returning.

Probably going after a yonger demo like they have in Atlanta, Philly, Charlotte, DC, St Louis, etc. They're station is burnt out so maybe a slight surge in ratings, but they'll get comfortable and fall back off. I wouldn't worry about it.

Yes, I believe in some of those markets Radio One eventually went back to more of a traditional urban AC after a period of "Hot" urban AC. KSOC, however, wasn't playing too much current music in its most recent incarnation.
