On Monday in midday on Star 94, I heard a Kaiser Permanente spot and a Wellstar spot back to back.
I realize Kaiser and Wellstar are not exactly the same type of business. Kaiser is an HMO, and Wellstar is a chain of medical facilities. But they're kind of close. You can go to both Kaiser and Wellstar for medical needs.
I don't mean to pick on Star; it just happened to be the station I heard this on. I'm guessing it happens elsewhere.
But do stations not care about their clients? Or do we now have inexperienced traffic people who don't think of this type of conflict? If I were either Kaiser or Wellstar, I'd be hollering for a makegood.
