No, you would have thinked that they would have thrown Recuerdo or another Regional Mexican format at 97.7 by this point.
 
With all the format flips on 95.1, you'd think Univision would consider putting an English-language station on that frequency. After all it is licensed to Comfort.


I don't think another country station is a good idea at all but I would think a good Hot AC station would be successful since San Antonio doesn't have one. (Magic and Q 101.9 are both AC). Or an Alternative station. Or maybe Dance (but that hasn't been too successful in the past).

First off, Doug Bennett was the PD. Second, Cox launched 106-7 to bring down KTFM even further than The Beat had done. Also, you had three stations in S.A. playing dance music- KTFM, Mix, and 106-7 Jamz. Although, clearly Jamz had the higher spins of dance music followed by KTFM and Mix.
