They won't be leading at 10 for long -- KOVR's 10pm newscast is going away in September.
In any case, it seems like the KCRA/WB58 crew is trying to do more than they're able, and perhaps in a style (faster-paced and "hip") they're not used to. It certainly has made the product suffer.
I'm sure Chris Riva is a nice guy -- but did he ever anchor anywhere else prior to his arrival here?
