You, of course, can believe what you want. At the time, I was at 1170 SFR watching this go down.


You were at 1170...and I was at Westinghouse in NY. Your motives for the corporate decisions are at best guesses. I was at Westinghouse and was privy to hear the executive decisions. And have since had discussions with Clarke and Ken.


and certainly not the rationale for their decision to operate WBZ-FM in the manner they did.
Your batting average on this isn't getting any better.

Less than 5 million was a decent price?

I think it was less than that, but In 1981 it was, when you consider exactly what you were getting, decent.


4.7 Mill if I recall correctly...with tower/transmitter lease agreements, etc.

FM's were undervalued at the time...and hanging on for just 3 or 4 years would have almost doubled that price....even for 106.7. Selling in an undervalued market is never smart.
