The Art Laboe Sunday special started on KGGI in 1991 and it expanded to other markets on the westcoast since then. KHHT has been airing it since its days as MEGA.
So he's been in L.A. since November 1997 when Mega was on 100.3?

Now I remember. The Art Laboe Connection used to air Sunday nights and KGGI was Mega's/KHHT's simulcast during the late 90's and early to mid 2000's. I listened one night in like 2003 when I was about 10 years old.

Im not sure I left Los Angeles in September 1997. B100.3 was on 100.3 during that time. I think Mega went on the air in either late 98 or 99. The Sunday night show started at KGGI. Art Laboe use to be on the orignal KDAY years ago.

No Mega went on the air on November 19, 1997 according to wiki.

Sometimes wiki is wrong but maybe your right.
Like you said before you never trust wiki. sometimes wiki says that KJLH is Mainstream Urban or Urban Contemporary. Heck I remember in like 06 or 07 they said that KJLH was Urban AC/Urban Gospel but folks shouldn't boycott wiki.
