It appears Continuous Wave has finally filed a petition to deny transfer of this station. Pleadings « License Modernization « FCC
Because what you posted is inaccurate. Of course, when Darby had a radio show he dealt in fantasy so there’s that. Why are you calling him "Darby's puppet" is he's telling the truth, Stan? You know good and well that the station was dark for well more than a year. In fact, it was dark when he transferred the license to Lopez. I find it very interesting that a non-engineer could successfully bring a station back to life, when the other non-engineer was only successful at keeping it silent. That's certainly not something I would want to add as an accomplishment to my resume when perpetually job searching for a position in broadcasting.
What hair? 🤣...so, before you go crazy Chris and lose your hair...
Actually, I can substantiate everything I stated as fact. Obviously, you can't, otherwise you would have done so.Because what you posted is inaccurate.
Really? It is advertised as "Houston's Premiere Tejano Party Station." That seems like a "presence in the Houston market" to me.Agreed. KHTW has no presence in the Houston market.
I posted here because the station's logo says Houston.Really? It is advertised as "Houston's Premiere Tejano Party Station." That seems like a "presence in the Houston market" to me.

The station’s signal, when actually on the air, is feeble to nonexistent depending on where you are in Houston metro. It is a nothingburger in this market. Maybe with 50kw aimed right at downtown Houston they could have some impact, but not with the current 2kw day/270 watts night facility aimed due south.Really? It is advertised as "Houston's Premiere Tejano Party Station." That seems like a "presence in the Houston market" to me.
Licensees are often wanting an antenna install job done as soon as the FCC grants a mod. Our crews sit waiting for a good to go green light. I follow the FCC daily reports. Anything you want to known about any license or pleading s available on the LMS.How did the original poster get the link to the petition?
I was gonna check the opposition mentioned.
