Kidd Chris Problems?

Does anyone know what the deal is with the Kidd Chris Show? His birthday party show tonight was cancelled tonight and he was in best of for the entire show today.

Alot of time and money was spent for this party, im sure. Show favorites were flown in from all over the country and it has alot of advertisers involved as well...
 
the pd was fired as well.. any thoughts on who they'd bring in for that? personally, i think the station needs some change in the programming side. it's just not good radio at all. talent will only get you so far.
 
It was only a matter of time. I guess YSP finally did a cost-benefit analysis.

Cons: pretty offensive, not that funny

This is a shock, now I guess we'll never know if he would have ever overtaken those blowhards P&S... :mad:

Overall I think the station sucks and needs an infusion of better talent. Right now WMMR is putting a dager right through their hear...
 
He'll be back on his feet at Sirius in no time. He said he was talking to Stern last week during his show.

there is comedy that is a commentary on race, and then there is racism dressed up as comedy.

guys like Carlos Mencia and Kidd Chris use the latter to go hard after the lowest common denominator.

but yeah, once again, if I think it sucks, maybe in the future I should just shut up about it and let you guys think that everyone in the world shares your sense of humor.
 
no...just dont open the thread. Or if you dont like a radio show, turn the dial. this is why radio is in the tank. Spineless suits who hire a shock jock" and then fire him almost 2 months later for being a "shock jock"over a song parody. then let him replay it over & over. Then fly in some criples and open mike..mary cary for a birthday party, just to cancell it. Seems like a rash move to me.

Way to go cbsradio. They just keep making the very best moves. Should i call wmmr and complain that I dont like lame, copy & paste rip& read radio and the same 4 artists on a replay all day. No, i just dont listen to their garbage to throw over the airwaves.
