Then you're a sorry excuse for a radio personality.
Do you remember what Imus said? He called the women's college basketball team "thugs." And thought it was funny.
Then you're a sorry excuse for a radio personality.
You're assuming it was "false outrage." If there are actual transgender people who were personally offended, it's not false.
You can try to justify or defend these two for what they had done, but all I heard in this clip was a pair of insensitive bullies that were ranting on and on for almost 12 minutes attacking a minority that had done nothing wrong, not a damn thing, but exist!

You can still hear it here

It really "Grinds My Gears" that this has turned into that K&B hates Transgenders. It's about that the City Healthcare plan will now pay for Sexual Reassignment Surgery... which is SO WRONG it's not even funny. There are probably a 100 other necessary things that the Healthcare Policy should be paying for before it pays for an Addadictomy. And the "Nut Job" comment that Kimberly made was made after she also mentioned that the Healthcare Policy will also cover the Counseling that goes along with the Gender Reassignment Surgery. In my opinion, the comment worked as a JOKE and it made me laugh. I'm sure a lot of people Laughed as well. I especially laughed when Chris chimed in and said "Thank You Sir" to the woman caller. It may not be your cup of tea, but it was funny. People just need to lighten up and jump OFF The Bandwagon. It was just a Radio Show with an edgy topic being discussed for entertainment value. I was entertained, and I thank K&B for giving me a few laughs that day.

That's a fair point, so I looked into it, and here's what I found in the Rochester City Paper account of the new health plan:
"To receive the benefits, employees will have to purchase an enhanced coverage plan."
So it's an extra charge, not part of basic coverage. And the employee is paying for the enhanced coverage, not taxpayers.
Mel Brooks could have talked about it. It would have been funny. It would even have been funny to transgenders. And nobody would have complained.
How come Mel Brooks gets away with stuff that gets others fired, boycotted... ?
Howard could have talked about it, too. It would have been funny but not as funny. And someone would have complained, if only on general principles because their hobby is monitoring Howard and writing complaints to the commission.
