CP applied for. Just based on CP applied for, I have no other info. Looks like they are just moving down from the crest of Blue Ridge to the 2500' elv. (aprox.) where they would have HAAT of about 160m - allowing for 28.5kw ERP.
There's also, a CP for KCRZ to move to the same site with ERP of something a little more that 3kw @ about 160m HAAT.
This site is not that far from the KIOO site with a similar HAAT/ERP. I wonder if KJUG's signal, which is currently much better than KIOO in Fresno, is going to be reduced to be on a par with the KIOO signal in Fresno. That is, almost unusable.
Obviously, Fresno is not KJUG's intended target and it looks like the move would give Tulare and Kings counties a stronger signal. It's been the trend for some time now to get closer in with a hotter signal in the prime target areas, which is what this move would do, sometimes, even if it takes a downgrade of license class. Though a downgrade is not the case here with KJUG, still a class B with this applied for CP.
