Let's not forget, Kev's been with the Tylers for forever, since 93.3 was in Ada. They might cut him a break for one fubar; or of course, he may be adequate in an OM capacity, but doesn't need to be making the particular programming decisions, so they might bring in somebody (or a consultant) to handle the on-air goods, and let him continue to manage the nuts-n-bolts end of things. I don't really gather he's a "for love of radio" guy, he's more of a suit-type, which is probably what the Tylers saw in him, to rein in their possibly-too-radio-fanny inclinations. But hey, either way, I'm used to the "let the ruiner stick around" modus operandi...my "civilian" job is the same way. We have an over 200% turnover rate, and i've finally given up the ghost and started interviewing myself...no matter how bad things are, and how many great employees they run off, they're still in charge and pocketing way too much money for their continued ineptitude.
