I would really like to hear the legendary KLOS, but their online stream will not work... Anyone know why? will it work for you?
Because Fahrid is cheap, overpaid for the ABC stations he acquired and he's got a huge balloon payment to make Summer 2009.eyg2181 said:I would really like to hear the legendary KLOS, but their online stream will not work... Anyone know why? will it work for you?

ChannelFlipper said:I think KLOS quit being "Legendary" quite some time ago. The station is nearly unlistenable outside of Ladd's show and the Underground Garage.
"Breakfast with the Beatles" has become "Chris Carter incesantly talks about the Beatles" - Cue six minutes of straight commercials...
Citadel seems like just the type of company that could kill a once-great station off for good as it commits its own corporate suicide.

Dittos to both of you; that is a huge reason why those of us who grew up during radio's heyday (late 50'-mid 80's) have soured on the music station portion of the industry--it just isn't a good listen anymore. Periodocally, maybe, but for long time periods, no.SoCal Tom said:ChannelFlipper said:Citadel seems like just the type of company that could kill a once-great station off for good as it commits its own corporate suicide.
Not only Citadel; but Infinity and Clear Channel are excellent at that too.
