KLSY to switch formats Monday at 12noon

Any smart broadcaster would probably not want to tip his hand on a format change by actually reserving domain names or call letters until the actual switch. It would probably really piss them off if someone were to take those domains before Wednesday.
 
I don't think they whould do any better with rock then mix is

probly only if they are going to rock, but if they are going to the movin format than they will probly change their PD
 
according to mitch's page on my space, he says that they will be doing their final show tomorrow morning. so their might be truth to that rumor.
 
Well rhythmic would be at least interesting. If it's anything like Uncle Amos' Rhythm and Gold I'll love it. However formats I love seldom exceed a 2.0 share. And rock? Yikes - where does that hole come from? Sandusky has done such a good job with Tepid 106.9 and KIXI it just seems that the 92.5 frequency is a pure jinx for them.
 
According to the official site, they're supposed to be giving away tickets to see Train in September all this week. Anyone know where to find Mitch's page on My Space?

I started rolling tape at 6:00AM. Good thing I bought blank tape yesterday.
 
Did they already can the team? I haven't heard anything but segue assists this morning.... Certainly wouldn't be unlike Sandusky's tradition of class to tell the crew "your last show will be Monday" and then "never mind..." after all the show prep was done? Ironically, this may be the first time I've ever heard music on the 92.5 morning show in the last 6 months....
 
I was surprised they were going to let them have a last show. Usually when morning shows get fired, they don't get a last show. They're just out the door.
 
I don't have any speculation or "news" about the rumored KLSY switch. But I just thought I'd point out, for what it is worth, this string was started by "IKnowItTall". Not "IKnowItAll". So the whole thing is pretty suspect in my mind.

I'd HAVE to vote for "COULDN'T GET IT RIGHT" (Climax Blues Band). They Should have launched with "WAITING FOR A STAR TO FALL" (which, ironically, STAR did launch with!)....

Correction...the end of what WAS at one time a great A/C station, but has had to throw in the towel thanks to inept programming and management. Personally, I hope it flips Urban - a war with KUBE would be interesting to watch. Another sidebar-Kim Monroe (ex KNDD MD) left her PD job in Cleveland - maybe she's planning a return to the Northwest?

Apparently they have hired someone from one of their Phoenix stations to do afternoons. Other than AM Drive and PM drive, they will run jockless for the time being. The call letters and domain names have already been requested. They will call it Rock 92-5!There is a reason that the Active Rock rumor has been running so rampant for the last few weeks...it's true.

Sorry Craptacular, but your speculation lives up to your screen handle...It'll be Rhythmic A/C, not rock.
