John Summers, Mon @ 4:55pm-
"I ain't got no TIVO... that sounds like a personal problem!"

;D ;D ;D

The Weather Bed That Got Away:

Monday, April 15th, in the 2:00 hour I think-

The K*LUV WX BED broke free and ran wild with no announcer, no weather, and worst of all, no sponsor, just bed, nothing but bed! The bed ran all the way out to a fade, the end jingle rolled followed by the song start.

I ain't never heard nothin' like that before... wild! Any ideas what happened?

Thank the lord for the automation.

Someone forgot to turn their mic on maybe?

Could be the talent left the studio for a "pit-stop" during a stop-set and didn't get back in time for the WX bed. AudioVault is a wonderful thing but the "&" can bite you

BUT there was no dead air ;D

Yea, CBS had the talent budgeted for a full :45 second pit, but due to unforeseen circumstances, the talent ran long!

Sounds like someone at CBS forgot to insert the voice-tracked weather and set the segue point :)
