KMMX MIX 100 Changing formats?

Kent said:
Keep in mind that Wilks owns a CHR in Kansas City called Mix. That would be KMXV 93.3. It started out as an AC but has been CHR since '94.

But was that change made under Wilks? If they've been CHR since 1994, well that's about the time that the "Mix" name was developed, so that market may have never had much time to associate the name "Mix" with an office based format.

Kiss, Mix, Hot, Hell ....whateva, Garret, you sure are making a mountain out of a mole-hill.

Not really, just having a conversation, stating an opoinion.
They can call it "Oatmeal 100.3" if they want, so long as it gets ratings.

Mix 93.3's CHR format was launched under either Apollo or Regent. However, that doesn't really matter. Companies often copy successful stations within the group regardless of who created them. The Kiss brand, for example, wasn't a Clear Channel original. KIIS in Los Angeles was owned by Gannett for over a decade and launched as a CHR in the early 80's under them.

Um, make that "opinion."
I have no idea what an "opoinion" is, but it sounds funny...
