So according to All Access theres a job listing for a new night personality on KMPS does that mean that Lia is off KMPS?
What a suprise!

TowerLamp said:Good to see that KMPS and Brenner are on the right track. Nothing against Lia, but live and local is the way to go when the competition heats up. Hope they can find an actual "talent" to fill the shift and not just another liner-card reader.

The biggest mistake KMPS can do is forget who brought them to the dance--the core country listener who's made up of people who love KMPS and the way it sounds. It's like Shania said: "You gotta dance with the one who brought you." When you're certain the "dance" has changed, then change the "tune" and get in step...then lead the way to whatever's next.
Ichabod is a personality Seattle has loved for over 3-decades. If you seriously think people are going to throw him over for the first new thing that somes along--you might be surprised. Same for the other KMPS personalities.
KMPS has been acting like they have a format competitor all along--even though they haven't. They continue to do the research and respond to it...not an upstart radio station that could well have already had its day in the sunshine.
