Not a lot of posts, but there's been a HitloadTM of page views this weekend, huh?

It's boogiecheck hitting "refresh" over and over to jump on the first person to say something else positive about a Citadel station.

While I'm using the calculator... you may want to line up to be fed with a spoon you f#*king retard.
Spoon feed me, baby. I like it easy.

Interesting and awesome response. +1 Internets to you, sir.

Heard from an old friend that Citadel's new ratings 'guide book' isn't out any more. It was the book trying to get people to believe 98.7 gets to claim the old 100kw numbers. Probably a good thing. It spent more time trying to tell people to be afraid, very afraid, of WNOX than it did trying to sell its legitimate numbers.

One would assume it was a safety issue, considering the whole pants-on-fire risk.

Ratings "guide book?" Whatzat?

If you ain't seen it, you ain't gonna. It probably winds up more in the hands of other radio reps than clients.

I was offered a copy of that book by a friend, but never did bother to pick it up, as I understand it was all about the old Spring Arbitron.

I may will drop by their office tomorrow and pick it up. Maybe I can find a place to post it online, since there is so much new interest in it.

Week 14: Meh. Maybe Ed and Bob can check out the other thread and throw out a few Johnny Pirkle facts on their show. The awesomeness would propel them to a 30 share.

H-E-L-L-O-O-O, BABIES!

A couple of breaking news items over the weekend: BB was surfing some Arbitrends and discovered that South Central's Nashville stations came in first AND second over there in the Jul/Aug/Sep trends just out.

WJXA is first, and Jack FM is number two! (Do not adjust your set...I said Jack is number two.)

I expect to see Jacobus and company melt down some of that extra money into ammo and fire it at their Knoxpatch competitors. Ain't it great to see a company with a Knoxville cluster grab the top two spots in market #44? Yankey Tankey Two, Froggie...here they come!

And before I forget, Arbitron now lists Knoxville as market #70. Seems it was #71 last time I looked.

BB

WJXA is a well executed station, the B station at times sounds like an early 80's U-102 meets WOKI reunion, but it works. Jack FM Nashville is the real deal (minus the satellite receiver) it sounds better than the network version.
