Air America hasn't worked in ANY city since it's inception in 2004. In fact, it filed for bankruptcy last year. BMP nor Austin, had any chance of saving Air America.

In response to Gibby's comment, I'm assuming that's why your not familiar or knowledgable with the tunes your listening to. For those not familiar, Tigrillos is more part of the more mainstream Regional Mexican acts which are heard on La Ley and Que Buena, I guess Garcia found a nitch and that's what is being exploited.
Actually, I am quite knowledgeable about Regional Mexican which is precisely what I was trying to get at. That I heard a bunch of stiffs on KOKE and nothing familiar until i heard Los Tigirillos. What Regional Mexican niche has Garcia carved on KOKE with KFON, KHHL, KLQB, KINV already in the market?

By the looks of it, I'm sure Garcia has had more than ample time to study the market and analyze his previous experiences, his next moves will be interesting to watch and listen to.
"Planeta" didn't work before & as a previous poster stated hasn't worked anywhere else but Argentina. Even if there was a market for "Planeta" in Austin I'd seriously doubt they would be listening to AM. How much more ample time does he need to realize this?
