North of here, it looks like Sherman/Denison is getting a new station: the CP for 107.3 Savoy took the calls KQDR today.

As many stations that have dumped that area around Lake Texoma to move into D/FW, I guess it was about time they got some sort of additional service. A lot has been lost up there: 910 (Sherman->Frisco), 1700 (Denison->Richardson), 93.7 (Healdton OK->Krum), 95.3 (originally a class A serving Grayson Co), 96.7 (Sherman->Flower Mound), 97.5 (Durant OK->Tom Bean), 101.7 (Denison->Azle), 104.1 (Sherman->Sanger), 104.9 (Denison->Pilot Point). That's 9 lost...you can also probably add KFYZ 98.3 Bonham which was downgraded and moved to the middle of nowhere in southeast Oklahoma to allow KBOC 98.3 Bridgeport's upgrade.
