Really now...how many posts are you going to make Icy over a station or stations not streaming? The bottom line reality is that streaming doesn't really matter all that much to the bottom line for a station. While its nice to know people are listening around the country or world, its not where station's make their largest chunk of revenue.
For smaller markets, it's an expense since we make quarter payments to Sound Exchange for royalties on songs played over the stream. It also is not that much of a revenue driver and streaming doesn't matter that much to the local advertisers...what really matters to them is how many listeners and what kind of response is being created on the radio station's main signal in their own local market. The hardware store that advertises in Grand Island really doesn't care about someone in Boston, Milwaukee or Chile...they only care about the potential customers in Grand Island...where they make their money.
