KRDX 98.5 on air full-time now?

Sad. we had a station that actually played a wide variety of rock, and now its gone . Just another 60's and 70's station. back to listening to kcdx on the computer. better than anything else on the air here. Just sad.

Very sad indeed...

They just lost this listener. DAM/N Now we have another pop hits play list that has been shoved down our throats since they came out in the 60's 70's and 80's and I'm damn tired of hearing them. The FOX...crap, Ted you blew it and changed the format. Maybe you sold it, who knows. All I know is I don't listen anymore and won't. Sick and tired of those same old gawd dam/n songs. You had a GREAT thing going up until this mistake. GRRRRRRRRRRR back to listening to seedees in the truck on the way to and from work. Sigh... I wish someone could put something on the air that many crave and keep it there...oh well, should have known it wouldn't last.

KRDX holy crap! I'm transported back to the early days of FM in Tucson. WOOOHOOOOO Found this station out of no where. Got home early today and was feeling old school so I click on the big ole Sansui G 9000 in the back room (yes that's 160 REAL watt's per channel that will fry your twinky ipod) and I land on this channel. Thinking it's out of Phoenix or something (big roof antenna in Oro Valley) I sit and listen. Wow, song after song...different songs that isn't the typical play list of about 20 of the usual lousy rock stations in Tucson. Where are the commercials I say...I keep listening and listening. OMG hadn't heard that song in ages, or that one, or that one! This ROCKS!!! Just like the old days. My G 9000 is cranking thought my 1964 JBL's and I'm diggin this. Where can I donate to help these guys get a bigger transmitter and blow the typical rock radio stations off the air. No more channel surfing for me, hope this sticks around. I'm spreading the word on this one.

LMAO ipods...

one man, a millionaire named Ted Tucker owns KCDX and all its associated radio stations in Arizona. Nobody knew for a long time who owned the station or how it was funded as the man who owns it called "The Guru" (Ted Tucker) wants to remain private and anonymous
