Drove by yesterday. Still no activity at the new site. I hope everything is still on track to get 1240 up and running..

I guess they are still waiting for the poles...
The poles are up!! As of Friday 10/25/10. Still waiting for telco loop. Station Should be on before the end of this week!

Johnny-

Were the poles placed within view of the street? I haven't been by within a few days.

Thanks!
The poles are not too visible from the street especially Jefferson. The location is off to the back of a lot on Gregory near Jefferson.

Ah, very good. Best of luck with that project. I will be nice to get the legendary 1240 back on the air. I hate seeing independant stations go dark.

KRJY will return to the air this coming Friday!

No, the poles support a long-wire antenna. I don't know whether ISDN is being used.... Johnny??
No ISDN. More delays!! Due to AT&T with installing a working digital audio loop to the transmitter site.

KRJY should bring local gospel on Sundays. Even though it's independent, the station lost benefits to anti-drug program. Why are they being questioned for funding?

KRJY will be doing more local programming on Saturday and Sunday's. If all goes well, KRJY should be on the this afternoon!
