KRJY 1240 Off The Air Since Thursday.

I think I'm in the null of the longwire, but on the most sensitive radio I have (an old Motorola AM car radio) 1240 is a beat between KRJY and I think two others, with KRJY audible - but just barely. This is in Pioneer, CA - probably about 60 miles East. On any "regular" radio there's just static. In contrast, we used to get 1240 weak but listenable (during the day) on a table radio when it was talk. I have no accurate means of measurement, but I would estimate the signal is 15 to 20 db down from what it was at this location.

But you're right, Johnny - it's on! Hopefully it's good enough to generate a bit of revenue.

The new ground system is in for the long wire antenna! Even at reduced power the coverage for KRJY seems to be ok for now. It's great to be back!!

Johnny-

It's great that you're back. I was listening and the coverage is better. I would agree that the audio could probably be tweaked some. That said, it is great that you're back!

I'll be working on the air audio this week. The web streaming audio should be better now.

It is, but I've got my trusty Select-A-Tenna attached to my PC to boost the reception until KRJY is back up to full power... ::)
