KROI' New Morning Show

Gave the new morning show on KROI a listen this morning.

The show sounds great, but whoever's running the board over at KROI has no clue what they're doing... music and spots are getting cut off halfway through to rejoin the sat feed.

The station also seems to be running a significant amount of PI spots, they are probably picking up the show on barter.

To the best of my knowledge, KROI is the only commercial station in the Houston market NOT running HD.

Looks like middays might feature the only local talent on the station, as they canned their evening guy earlier this month.

Looks like Radio One is really going to give the CHR format a big push before they decide to throw in the towel. Probably decided nothing else would work under current ownership and cluster structure.
