You tool! ( :) )

You are clearly a victim of the media. If they have any bias at all it is in favor of FOOTBALL! O-V-E-R-R-A-T-E-D

(did anyone else notice how awkward it was to try and put a smile face :) in parenthesis? It hurts my brain!)

:)

I hope this "lovely" little game of name-calling-without-taking-any-offense (I hyphenated for Batman) aplies to my post too. No offense on the tool part. But you are a tool. :)

Balony.

KSKY tells me liberals will hate it. That's the message it gets across.
That is hardly a reason why I, as a non-liberal, should like it or listen to it.

Their previous billboard campaign showed me the names and air times of some of the people who are on the station. That's useful information that can help me decide whether I'd like to listen to it.

And don't forget the burgeoning newspaper business.

"Liberals hate it, nobody else listens to it."

What do you think of the KSKY lineup?

What's balony?

Do you mean baloney?

Off to a baaad start ... :)

The first conservative I've heard call him or herself a "non-liberal". Most wear the "C" word as a badge of honor.

Yeah, you're right.

But you did not distinguish between the two campaigns in your first post.

How do you like the lineup?

Does Laura Ingraham come across as a man to you in her demeanor?

Forget his views for a minute -- does William Bennett entertain ... or bore you?

Did you agree with his comment about "aborting BLACK babies".

1360 AM, business radio, David Johnson, my free movie passes from KXYZ two decades ago, Nolan Ryan ... and more ... all on Radio-info.com -- enjoy :)

Me too ... especially since I attended that game more than 20 years ago :).

See the bottom of the post ... way down ... way on down.

If you care :).

William "Bore Me to Tears" Bennett

What do you mean by "be very careful with that one".

Bennett is a public figure, and everything he says will be scrutinized.

Come on, every account I heard and read gave the full context. His mouth went into overdrive.

So he crashed, tried to back up, blame other drivers and drive away without first apologizing.

The guy is a blowhard and bores conservatives as well as liberals.

Morning drive with William Bennett? And KSKY wonders why they are tied overall for 39th place in the market?

Maybe it's a right-brain, left-brain thing with the SKY :)

But I do love the "Eye in the Sky" traffic stuff ... or something like that ...

Reminds me of Bruce Wayne's KFI-in-the-sky traffic in Los Angeles years ago.

>>Bennett erred in putting his
> qualifier at the end of the statement and not in front

Why in the hell would the guy single out BLACK babies in the first place?

Draw your own conclusions.

Imagine Bennett as president which he once wanted to be before he became a boring talk show host on second-rate radio stations around the country.

> newscasts ran with the first part of the statement,

Yeah, most stories start at the BEGINNING ... NOT the end.

Read your own statement above.

> and all
> but ignored the fact that he said doing something like that

Even the conservative "New York Post", owned by Rupert Murdoch, reported the story the same as other media outlets.

He has the right to express his thoughts, and others disagreed with it. Nothing happened to free speech here ... nothing.

The only thing that happened was Bennett shot himself in the foot, then tried to blame others for his poor aim.

Re: William "Bore Me to Tears" Bennett

Bennett is a walking cure for sleep apnea. Now I am curious as to why the media, besides one Chicago paper, didn't take Steve Dahl to task over his new drink called"Katrina". He stated on the air what alcohol to use,and that it includes "Chocolate Sugar Babies"candies floating on top to simulate corpses. It was controversial for one day, then it was no longer mentioned.

I don't find any of their hosts particularly entertaining.

I agree with Bennett that aborting all black babies would be "ridiculous and morally reprehensible." That said, he should have known all the lefties in the print and broadcast media would carefully edit his comment out of context to make it sound racist.

But they did not edit those comments out, you simply are mistaken or are trying to twist the truth.

As I said earlier, both the conservative "New York Post" and liberal "New York Times" reported on the story fully including Bennett's lame excuses as to why he said what he did.

What Bennett tried to do, unsuccessfully, with conservatives and liberals alike was to blame the messenger -- it's that simple.

One radio columnist in the Windy City blasted Dahl.

But these days, apparently anything ... anything goes on radio.

I'm sure many newspapers did run the full comment. I'm talking about the edited stuff I saw on TV and heard on other radio shows.

Bennett was trying to respond to a complex philosophical argument. Unfortunately, it was too intellectual for many of the Neanderthal liberals to comprehend.

And he just happened to pick BLACK babies for an example.

And who is the Neanderthal at the mic?
