KSTN-FM Transmitter Signed On

Actually I am surprised that none of the Spanish groups like Entravision, Univision or Bustos tried to go after 107.3? Maybe they couldn't afford it?

The problem is that KSTN covers several smallish markets that are not generally bought together. So its rates are basically Stockton rates, and that does not allow for a lot of potential.

Bustos is in reorganization, Univision just bought a major New York City FM a few months ago. I suspect that all see that the area KSTN covers is overpopulated with Spanish language stations already.

In that sense I guess it would be a really good fit for EMF. Their goal is to cover population without regard to specific markets, since the network is basically the same anyway. On a related note, I ran the Longley-Rice app from the Canadian government, and I see what you mean about coverage to the North. For those who don't want to mess with the mechanics of it, I posted it here:

Excellent, Dave! Thanks for doing the work and taking the time to post the results. There's a lot more detail in this than the Radio-Locator.com maps, which are interesting but not 100% "real."

Daddy dies and the family fights to pick his bones clean! That's it in a nutshell, with all the family members going nuts to get in the biggest bite to buy the biggest Hummer that they can buy with their piece of the pie! Sad thing to see! There's a word for what motivates them! Know what that word is? Greed! Plain and simple!
