Due to some unforseen life circumstances, I've ended up in the Tri-Cities for awhile. Always had the bug to do an avant guarde type of show. One that pulls from the 1920's right up to today, blending differing genres into one big blob of broadcasting.
I sent Ed Dailey, guru and all around nice guy at 88.1 an email asking if KTCV allows involvement from the community. Specifically, I was wondering if they would allow someone to come in and produce a show for broadcast. A background check later and a week spent cramming the basics of their automation and I had a slot.
Alas, The Revolution Radio Show was born.
Here's a copy of my playlist for this Sunday. Since I have too much time on my hands (again, unforseen circumstances) I've really had fun programming the complete genre chaos. Please if within earshot, give it a listen Sundays 8-10pm.
I'd like to get some feedback.
