Why KTFM? Why not 104.1? Several stations throughout the country have flipped from Alternative to xyz format.

Why hasn't San Antonio ever had a rock alternative format? You have a lot of colleges in the Alamo City, as well as a strong military presence, two factors I think would build a strong case for bringing in an alternative format.
On another note, how about that 104.1 tower? When I drive to Laredo, I can pick it up all the way to Encinal, which is about 30 minutes north of Laredo. Pretty friggin' strong signal.
Q96 KSAQ was New Wave/Alternative back in the 80's.
