No worse than 100.9 going up against 97.7 and 106.9 The Rock. But who knows for sure?

True, I don't know of any other market that has 2 oldies stations if that will be the case.

IIRC-- Clear Channel runs Oldies 105.5 KQXX and Classic Hits 1700 KVNS down in the Valley.

Really surprises me that cc just doesn't simulcast Oldies 105.5 on 1700 am. They both have the same format.

Maybe they see a difference between Oldies and Classic Hits.
After all they're also running a CHR and a Hot AC.

Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference between the two as 105.5 now plays a healthy dose of classic rock and 80's hits.

105.5 and 1700 were simulcast at one time, before 1700 flipped to News/Talk.

105's signal only serves the western valley. It doesn't even make it to Harlingen.

Are they on now? That may do it for Q since KTXN is one of the stronger stations in Victoria.

I made a quick trip to V-town for a funeral today 98.7 was off the air but I did see an ad in The Advocate for 98.7 JACK FM

Thanks I'll be down over the weekend in the area to see if they come on then. They may decide to wait till Monday to turn it on.??

They are on the air now. I guess it came on around 11,, Did a aircheck of them. Need to listen to them more to see how diffrent they are from others.
