KXXT has at least three local liberal talk shows on the weekends. (All times before the time change alters them, if it does.)
Saturday afternoon 2 to 4: Truth To Power
Saturday 4 to 7 p.m.: The M and M Show
And there's one on Sunday afternoon, too.
There's been a second edition of the M and M Show Sundays from ten to noon, but an on-air comment indicated that may be replaced by a car repair show.
By the way, I hope this change allows them to run the Rachel Maddow show, which is quite a good news review from a liberal perspective.
I like it better than Morning Sedition, and it's on Air America at 5 a.m. Eastern. They could air something from 1 to 3 a.m., (maybe Franken), Maddow and an hour of Morning Sedition, but somehow I doubt I'll be that lucky.
Thankn God for streams.
It's interesting that KXXT has had a web link to Maddow's show, but hasn't aired it. It began a week after the longer show which featured Maddow was replaced on Air America by Jerry Springer, which few affiliates seem to carry on either coast.
By the way, Franken on Friday was fraught with technical problems, which he handled quite poorly. He needs another co-host to keep him on track and smooth his rough spots.
