KYNO to move to 940.

There was one article in the Bee that suggested Ostund was going to launch another format on 1300 after the 30 day loop ended. 1300 ownership is now in the hands of multicultural based upon all I've seen at the FCC. I guess we'll need to wait for the polka format to show up on his new AM out of Easton?

Here's what I don't get why would John want spend the money on 1150, 250 watts daytime, and build a multi tower set up for night time, which would be very expensive, when he could try to get one of the bankrupt fm's, 106.3 Kingsburg or 95.3 Kerman and get more listeners. this 1150 would be a financial disaster.

Given KYNO's .04 in the latest book, maybe he wants company at the bottom? Seriously, John's hobby, well meaning as it may be, will drain him over the years.

Writeoff Possibly?

Are we sure that 1300 is going to be used by Multicultural? Have seen conflicting reports, and 1300 is still playing the loop message to tune over to 940, just like it has been for the last 36 days.

This is confusing , the Fresno Bee reports that John still owns 1300, and that the new 1150 daytime signal will broadcast from the 1300 tower site, but the FCC and the call letters KWRU says different. Maybe some of our RI experts MRK or David Eduardo can have some info on this one.
