Will this include the launch of a Tik Tok Radio channel on the iHeart app?The official launch of the brand is coming later this week or next week
It should as that is the primary listening destination they are pushing for the brand. Will this include the launch of a Tik Tok Radio channel on the iHeart app?
One difference is that there are iHeart radio personalities hosting on the new Tik Tok Radio.Same format as Tik Tok Radio, the SiriusXM channel that was dropped not long ago, I presume?
No sign of TikTok Radio on Houston’s iHeart stations, where I presume it would be added to Hip-Hop/R&B KQBT, which already has Pride Radio on its HD-2. The other two iHeart FMs already have HD-2 & 3.The official launch of the brand is coming later this week or next week, but so far most of the HD subchannels carrying it are of Classic Rock, Country and Hip Hop stations.
It seems like it would fit better as an HD for 106.1, where younger listeners are more likely to be
This was addressed in post #4 of the thread...It would make a better fit for 106.1. iHeartRadio may not want to use anymore bandwidth on 106.1 HD. KZOK was the only iHeart station in the Seattle area without a subchannel.

I think that is now true for KZOK's main format, correct? All of the talent is VT from elsewhere.Reminder that KZOK-HD2 officially starts carrying TikTok Radio tomorrow, March 13. None of the talent comes from Seattle stations in the iHeart stable.
Unfortunately, yes. Not that all voice tracking is bad or shouldn’t be done, but the station hasn’t felt “local” since the last of the on air talent departed.I think that is now true for KZOK's main format, correct? All of the talent is VT from elsewhere.
