Warner...JM lived in Warner,NH and owned a bookstore with his sister.

Yeah, you're right, it's Warner, not Warren, I had a brain cramp. I talked with Jim on the phone about 6 months before he died, we were going to get together for a drink or lunch, and to my regret, I never made it before he died. His old nickname at 'LNH was "The Eagle", because he was prematurely bald, but he was a helluva guy, funny sense of humor.

Got his job at LNH when he showed upat the station, asking to use the phone. His car broke down. Everyone was blown away by his voice. Never did radio before.

LOL!

I had forgotten that story, thanks for dredging up an old memory.

JM did weekends at WBZ for years. He was great. Great voice and a wonderful man.

Anyone know what's going to happen with 101.5 in the LR?

That was a great classic rock station in the early 2000's when it was BIG 101.5. I miss Ron Drew. What a voice. Whatever happened to morning man Trey (Hoffman) McKain? Now there was a guy with a great mind for classic rock radio. I heard he's in Ohio somewhere.

Mid West sounds right for Trey. Google him.

Ron Drew still with the River (Boston).

Anyone's guess about 101.5.

If you are Jim Kenton then you are the best voice in radio! Much better that WB the king of smoozing. Hope you are still in radio somewhere.

very natural voice, Jim Kenton. Worked for Nassau in Maine for FRANK for awhile. Got his start at OLDIES 99 in Concord,NH.

Not sure what he's doing?
