'90s-era Westway Ford spots in D/FW (Joe Greed - big [really honkin' big] green sunglasses).
"Mattress Mac" with Gallery Furniture in Houston (really, really annoying)
Currently, Bill Dickason with Southwest Kia ("If I can't beat a new car deal in Texas, I'll just give it to you")

And, of course, "The Texas Hammer" - Jim Adler attorney commercials, followed closely by Brian Loncar (also in D/FW).

Then there were the KXAS "JAM" promos ("Jane and Mike") for their 6 and 10 newscasts. So, so, so lame.

Back in the '70s and '80s, I always thought it was interesting that the same guy who voiced the Haverty's Furniture commercials also voiced the Majestic Liquor spots. (D/FW again.)

Actually, by far the worst commercial is by Gina, formerly of 19th Avenue, for her new business, the Ocean Avenue Service Station, but to my disappointment, nobody has posted her commercials on You Tube. She is somewhat frightening.

Ah, I remember 'Gina and Joe' from about 10 years ago, when the station was a BP...'Not just ANY BP...19TH AVENUE BP!' For some reason, even though I lived on the Peninsula at the time, my Comcast system carried the ads for that gas station.
Now, in Sonoma County, the only local ads are for car dealers and bail bonds services...other than a shoe store that has a cheesy ad where a space shuttle lands and the two astronauts enter the store for a sale.
