Legal Battle?

I'm not sure what rumor you speak of, but I assure you that this isn't make believe. It's very real and very troublesome. I'm surprised that it has taken this long to come to a head. But at any rate, here it is. As a former employee of New South years ago, I've been aware of this issue for several years, and while I was never a victim, I knew some of those involved. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what the outcome is. But I'm guessing that it won't be a "happily ever after" ending for Eddie.

And even more importantly, are Richard Schwartz or Don Evans serving as legal counsel for anybody? ;DMC

They will need that attorney....one of the employees in the lawsuit got fired today. Guns are blazin at the OKK corral.

It all hit the fan today. Front page of The Meridian Star. Heard the phone lines are blazing along with those guns at the OKK corral.

Scandal? In Meridian? Who'd a thunk it! Seriously, feel sorry for all of those employees. Got to be a stressed workplace.

When you fire a "favorite son" in M-town there's going to be serious stress. This is a huge scandal for this little place. The employee that got axed is a very popular personality in Meridian's community and a friend to many. There are some great people who work for WOKK but there is also a time in your life you have to stand up and take action to try and right a wrong. That morning show won't be the same for years to come. A slippery slope for all involved....

I wouldn't mind going back to work in a Mississippi radio station, but I'm not sure WHO would want to walk into THAT mess! There would DEFINITELY have to be some contractual stuff worked out before anyone with knowledge of this situation went in.
