I've probably written more
public criticism about 99X than anyone. There's a been a lot to criticize. That being said, everytime time I've taken exception with something, I've always listened to it--usually several times.
I'm sorry if you're hurt by my words, but I suspect that the people whose work you're criticizing, without having even heard it, probably put a lot of effort to their work and have families whom they support with that work. I would suggest that yours is hardly a moral highground.
On a final note, if you believe that Steve Barnes "decided to leave" then you need to re-examine the source of your information. I think he "decided" to leave because Mark Renier and Leslie Fram "decided" to stop paying him and "decided" that they would call security if he "decided" to return.
