Enough about Entercom my fellow posters. Let me help you all
out so you don't waste valuable thinking time. Trust me, these
predictions are more than solid:
1. KISW is set. This is the lineup and the company is excited.
Lykis will stay nights, unless Westwood can clear him at another
station in town. So far no takers.
2. KTTH will launch a new local morning show soon and Rush will not
move to KIRO as planned. THe only prediction I missed. I did not forsee
that the last three trends on KIRO (with Prell gone) have the station
skyrocketing. KIRO is now number one mid-days on the AM by a large margin.
I missed this one, but such is life.
3. KIRO is set. The last two trends have their entire lineup beating all
other AM's, except nights. Seahawks are bringing home the weekends and KIRO
will be the station to watch for numbers increases in FALL. IKNOWITALL!
4. THE WOLF is what it is. This is not a stunt, they are Country and I predict (or maybe I know) that their new morning show begins in Winter.
5. KNDD becomes the music winner, since they are the only full-market station
playing male rock music around the clock
6. KMTT contines to look for a PD, but is doing fine.
7. KBSG is days away from signing their morning show to a multi-million dollar long-term deal.
8. Robin and John have settled out of court, have made some money are not headed to KJR-FM.
Those are all the changes on Entercomm. We will know this time next year if it
all worked.
The changes are made, IKNOWITALL predicted most of them. Yet all of my other predictions came with little inside knowledge, just a pyschic connection to the future of Seattle radio and a knack for understanding ratings. Hold me...touch me...feel me...IKNOWITALL!!!!
PEACE OUT
