Let's wish David E a speedy recovery from COVID.

Get well - more well soon! My spouse had it and I nursed him back to normal making him comfy. I never caught the 'rona, but it's like anything - some get it bad, or a slight touch or nada. Depends on the genes!

All 5 doses to date. I believe that made my case relatively moderate by comparison.
 
Congratulations on the award, and sorry it came with the crud and all that goes with it. Glad the worst is behind you though. But hey - look at it this way - weren't you feeling a bit left out when everyone else was talking about their Covid? Now you've had that life experience go along with the others. That's fulfilling, right?

Get well soon, David. When I had covid - back before there was any vaccine available and little was known about remedies or even how to reduce the ill effects, I had symptoms for about 2 weeks solid and at that point I was just sick and tired of feeling sick and tired and was irritable as hell. With that in mind, I made you the meme below, so any RD users can feel free to stop by and face off against you about any subject imaginable; doesn't have to be just radio or TV, to help you pass the time. Plus, we all know how much you love a good spirited debate :) GET WELL SOON!

David, My wife and I both came down with covid mid Oct. Negative now , but for us in our mid 70"s it been a long process. Sounds like your doing better-and take care!

Glad you feel better! I tested positive for Covid back in late August and Paxlovid did the trick for me. I initially thought I has caught a really bad cold with some fever. I tested negative for 2 days and tested positive on the 3rd day.

Yes, when I returned to CA from getting the NAB award I received, I thought I was just beat from the two full days of traveling. When I felt worse on the third day, I self-tested and found I had Covid... Doctor gave me the same stuff and it's just been two weeks of terrible tiredness and 15 to 18 hours of sleep!

Congratulations on the NAB award and I hope you recover soon, David. I've been reading your posts since I was 12 years old, when I would scope the RadioInfo.com boards. You're absolutely my radio father figure! 😂

Same here, I have been reading David’s posts since age 17 and a senior in high school back in 2010-11. I used to vent about LA not having a decent urban station and he along with other members would tell me as I get older I’ll understand about how the radio works. Get Well soon David you’re in my prayers.
