Let's wish David E a speedy recovery from COVID.

I haven't caught Covid yet but just in case I do, I'll say "adios" now. Even though I probably have more vaccine in my body then blood at this point, due to my crappy heart and lungs my cardiologist and pulmonary docs say I probably wouldn't survive.
 
My relatives may have it again for the second time - they didn’t think it could cause gastrointestinal symptoms, but some of the new variants can. Unfortunately the effects of having it are cumulative so each time someone gets it, they get more and more damaged whether or not they realize it, because it affects the blood vessels.
 
Hope your recovery is fast. Be careful and follow your Doctor's advise about what to do after your tests are OK. A family friend had it and recovered and then managed to get again. His doctor said it was a "different variant". His second recovery was very slow.
 
Been away for 2 weeks and just saw this. Glad that you're feeling better. My wife and I had it a year ago July...Paxlovid worked great for both of us.
 
Just found out my relatives tested positive again :( Hopefully paxlovid will help them again, and they don’t end up with any long term effects from getting covid again.
