I remember in the late 80's flipping a station to classic rock. When I ordered up my Gold Discs from TM Century's "classic rock" library...I was a little pissed when I noticed all the edits. Not just in content but in length as well (4:30 min version of Suite: Judy Blue Eyes). I packed it up and sent it back with a nastygram to TMC.
This is one format that you do not ------ with the music, the listeners demand that we treat it with respect. For example, my jocks don't talk up intros, and if a song is a bit too "edgy" lyrically for the workday, then I just daypart it.
BTW, a Little T&A is meek compared to...say, Down With The Sickness by Disturbed.
Rock with repspect.
