LIVE 105.3 "Stunting"

Wasnt Sybil in the middle of a sentence when the BCS fight song started? If they were going to change formats why not do it first thing in the am or at midnight like usual?
 
yeah an inside source that I know said on his twitter that an announcement would be made at 4 pm today.


@Jeff: seriously? If it were just the bowl games then how come it has been going on for most of the past hour. I doubt B&S knew this was going to happen. I heard KLLI during a break in between the songs.

I cant believe Ben and Skin would get the boot mid show? Its unprofessional. The management of this station is horrible.

You may be right... They are losing ad revs and that is not like them...
 
Word on the street is they are going sports and Russ Martin has been let go.
 
About 1:45pm or so the display on my radio said, "105.3 KLLI Dallas/Fort Worth The Fan."

Over the weekend CBS has registered 1053thefan.com. The site is already active on their servers pointing to the normal “website coming soon” note that their provider uses before activating a site.

In recent months CBS has flipped FM Talkers in Detroit and Baltimore to Sports with both flips occurring on Mondays. We’ll see how this plays out in a market with two existing Sports stations.

Can you get internet radio inside your car? IMHO, I don't think a local station will touch Mr. Martin what with his recent bad press. ;D

I'm one of them.

It's 10 minutes until 3pm and they just came on and said "With 10 minutes to play, we'll see what happens"
