Live stations in Lakes Region

I agree with you. I wouldn't drop it either if I was JYY. My point is, if "TheGuyinRadio" is so insistant on having one of the stations drop it, it would have to be JYY. So write a letter. FTN is not dropping it any time soon, and I assume JYY won't either. So, I guess he'll have to deal with it! I agree with him though, I'd like two choices on Saturday night, not just one.

I also worked at WFTN weekends as a high school student in '74 when it was in Friendly's. Signed it on Sunday Mornings, did a live easy listening show, followed by a top 40 show (with cool music radio jingles) til 3pm, then was relieved by Mark Simone who is now in NY. It was so cold in the winter, that the toilet in the men's room would be frozen. Fun times with live local radio.

O'Brien tells me Mix carried Open House Party two years before JYY and that Mix was pressured into accepting the deal. Apparently JYY used to run an in house show.

Take care. Great hearing these old stories from veterans.
