Seems to me the issue is that, as well as the fact that most people in the business don't want to realize that as repetitive secondary and tertiary music formats get phased out in an iPod/satradio/wifi world, we're going to see more and new flavors of talk, much of which is going to move to FM. I don't really see how you can argue that Penn Gillete or Tom Leykis cater to the same audience as Ray Taliafero or KGO's Morning News. So the "too much talk" argument is facile; FreeFM is bringing new listeners to the talk genre.
