Looking For Advice- Stream, Podcast Or Other

thanks..but i'm not sure what or where that is..sorry to be so tech dumb here..where would i find that?? i use an OTS audio player through Ustream..thanks again
 
ok thanks...i havent had any complaints on the sound..the OTS software has a pretty decent dynamic processor..and i have two EQ'S at my disposal...although i run the program in stereo..Ustream broadcasts in mono..have a listen and see what you think..i'm an old rock jock and been doing this for almost a year with almost 7000 hits going "live" one night per week..the other days..it's archived until the next live show on the following Friday.. www.chucklundi.com web site will have the link to the show on the home page.....

Tom, thanks. I'm using Breakaway's "Zenith" preset along with Izotope Vinyl, Antress Modern Analoger, and Classic Equalizer. Those three effects are all freeware and all work well in Winamp (you need a VST wrapper for the last two). And if you really want to hear my voice sound bad, I can record a show before I take an allergy pill.
 
WELL....I have a 40-song countdown show done and ready to upload. But my piece of crap cheap-ass modem is dying on me. Thank goodness I've paid for equipment replacement; all the new modem will cost me is $2.49. (this makes three, count them, three modems I've been through in ten months, all the same crappy model). I'd normally have the new unit on Monday but seeing as how that's a holiday, Tuesday is more likely.

If I can get to the library tomorrow (or later today, actually) I'll upload the show and get it on the air. If anyone wants the full show as a 256K download, just send me a private message here and I'll give you the download link.

I might not be able to do that till Tuesday though, as the library's connection might rule out such a big upload. The Live365 should be no problem though, I've uploaded files to their servers from the library before with no issues.
