According to FCC documents, the sale to Jones Broadcasting fell through, and the receiver has taken the station off the air again, even so, they were only putting out 200 watts ERP due to a blown (and non-replaceable) transmitter final tube.
The FCC documents also hint that the receiver has a sale of the facilities and license pending to another "established" broadcaster, so it may not be off air for long. It will be interesting to see who next tries to step in and get Channel 24 going.
