However, this format isn't going to debut until September, if I remember correctly. They must be putting together the distribution structure. I'm sure we will hear more about this in the Chicago area, especially with Lujack's association.
Just a thought: Could Lujack do mornings on 'LS and that be piped to the bird in the sky??? If that is what would happen, is Shannon's format ready to bite the dust in Chicago???

The other thing I can't imagine is Larry without a huge local staff to interact with.
I listened and sure 'nuff prefer Larry over Wink.
But the awesome reverb of WLS is missing, as are "the local station staff" to interact with.
I won't say it sounds like a podcast, as it would be live, but it either hasta be "from" somewhere specific, and identify locally,
or very intentionally structured to run anyplace and reduce or minimize localism.
As a Chicagoan, I want my Larry to originate in Chicago.

(you can tell the Music Of Your Life People have a hand in this) ...Lujack is always terriffic! and yes, belongs on WLS-FM. but it will be kind of hard to bump "True Oldies" for Lujack because it is THEIR syndicated show.

Even if they had reveb on 'RLL, the static would have drowned it out). Since Edwards hasn't surfaced somewhere on LS, even a weekend shift, he might be involved with this venture.
We know one thing, Lujack won't be broadcasting from Chicago. It's a well documented fact he doesn't like city-life. My guess, he will be based out of his home studio in NM.

OK, everyone, help me out here. Wasn't Chuck Brinkman at WCFL in the 70's?
