Martha Quinn (one of the original MTV VJs) is now hosting 10am to 2pm on Majic. Kat Jackson remains on the station hosting the same shift on Saturdays. Jimmy Malone is also back on Majic on Saturday mornings.
I believe it is VT as she is on a lot of iHeart's Classic Hits stations nationwide. Is Quinn being syndicated? I doubt she's living and working in Cleveland unless she's taken a job with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
she was mornings, now middays on ihearts classic htis station in san francisco thats her home baseI believe it is VT as she is on a lot of iHeart's Classic Hits stations nationwide.
About the only station I listen to anymore is WAPS [91.3 The Summit]. Live jocks, [though I'm sure they VT every once in a while] always giving out some info about songs, what's going on, etc. I still would prefer radio to be more like the old days with the high energy jocks, flat out funny stuff. I'm talking the days of Phil Gardner, Bob "Vernon with a V", The "Real" Bob James, Kevin O'Neil, Lanigan, and so on. Enjoyed them so much that when some of them left for WNBC, I did my best to tune them in at night time. May not always remember the songs they played but 45+ years later I can still remember some of the jokes and bits they did.
Radio geeks old enough to have been listening to radio 45+ years ago, at that!im pretty sure theres more then "VT every once in awhile" on The Summit. Super great jocks and programming though.
The high every jocks? Theres a reason thats not around anymore... it fell out of favor, its not what the public likes or respond to. The only people clamoring for that is radio geeks.

They have a local service mark in some states but not a national ownership of the brand.Doesn't iheart have a claim to the "Majic" ID? I think they use [or used] it on several stations across the nation.
Plus Kat Jackson, who had been WKDD’s morning co-host and VT’ed Majic middays, has been moved to an off-air role in production.Just after the holidays, iHeart announced Quinn would be heard on Classic Hits stations in San Francisco (flagship KOSF), Seattle (KJR-FM), Milwaukee (WRIT), Salt Lake City (KODJ), Minneapolis (KQQL) and St. Louis (KLOU). The initial press release said she would premiere on 35 iHeart stations. WMJI wasn't mentioned but it's logical... an iHeart Classic Hits station in a sizable market.
